Reddit Recruits Black Tech Entrepreneur to Join Company Board

Y Combinator Partner Michael Seibel is filling the seat once held by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, who announced his resignation last Friday, and urged the company to fill his position with a black candidate.

Reddit is honoring Alexis Ohanian’s request to fill his board seat with a black candidate by naming Michael Seibel, a partner at startup accelerator Y Combinator, to the position.
