Voto Latino has seen a 2,750% jump in voter registration since the killing of George Floyd

In the days following the killing of George Floyd by a white police officer and the nationwide protests that ensued, Voto Latino, an organization that encourages young Latinx voters to become more politically involved, saw a more than 2,750% jump in their voter registration numbers. 

Between June 1-10, the organization signed up 63,158 new voters. During the same 10-day period in May, they registered just 2,294 people.
